Thai language is an official language of Thailand and is spoken by over 60 million people worldwide. Thai is a tonal language consisting of 5 tones and is written with an alphabetic script based on ancient Indic models, variations of which are used throughout mainland Southeast Asia. Thailand is rich with cultural traditions, many wonderful temples, great beaches, and great food. It is more rewarding to travel the country when you can speak Thai.
