TRAVEL TO UW-MADISON: 


By plane then by car:

1. Land at Dane County Regional Airport (4000 International Ln, Madison, WI 53704); 

Head north on International Ln; 

Continue on Packers Ave. Take E Gorham St to N charter St; 

Follow N Charter St to Observatory Dr.; 

Arrive at William H. Sewell Social Sciences Building. 

(about 30 minutes’ drive) 

2. Land at O’ Hare International Airport (10000 W O’Hare Ave, Chicago, IL 60666); Get on I-190 E; 

Follow I-90 W to John Nolen Dr. in Dane County; 

Take exit 263 from US-12/W/US-18 W; 

Continue on John Nolen Dr.; 

Take E Lakeside St and S Park St to Observatory Dr.; Arrive at William H. Sewell Social Sciences Building. (about 2.5 hours’ drive) 


By plane then by Van Galder Shuttle: 

Land at O’ Hare International Airport (10000 W O’Hare Ave, Chicago, IL 60666); Go to O’Hare Bus/Shuttle Center, then take the shuttle to UW-Madison. 

$30/person for one way, $60/person for round trip. 

It takes about 3 hours by shuttle.

TRAVEL BETWEEN FLUNO CENTER AND WILLIAM H. SEWELL SOCIAL SCIENCES BUILDING: 

You can drive, walk or take a bus. Bus Route 80 is free. 

Bus stops close to Fluno Center: Stop#39 (N Lake & W Johnson) and Stop#765 (N Lake & University Ave). Get off at Stop#52 (Observatory & N Charter) and the social sciences building is on the right. Check the bus information.

 

TRAVEL FROM UW-MADISON TO NANI RESTAURANT: 

The Nani Restaurant will provide free parking lots. 

1. From William H. Sewell Social Sciences Building: 

Follow N Charter St to University Ave; 

Take Mineral Point Rd to Grand Canyon Dr.; 

Turn left onto Grand Canyon Dr. and the destination will be on the right.

2. From Fluno Center: 

Head west on University Ave toward Hawthorne Ct; 

Keep right to continue on Campus Dr.; 

Continue onto University Ave and keep right; 

Turn left onto N Whitney Way then turn right onto Mineral Point Rd; 

Turn left onto Grand Canyon Dr. and the destination will be on the right.

Fluno Center Garage (Lot 83) 

Address: 314 N. Frances Street, Madison 

A public parking facility is conveniently located beneath the Fluno Center and a space is guaranteed for all Fluno Center guests. Please take a ticket from the automated parking system upon entering and pay at either the pay station by the elevator or the pay station at the exit. 

Daytime Parking Rates 

7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 

$1 per 30 minutes for the first 2 hours 

$1 per hour thereafter 

$12 maximum per day o Evening Parking Rates 

4:30 p.m. – 12:00 midnight 

$1 per hour

Hourly Rate: $1.30 per hour

Nights & Weekends: $8.00 max 

 

Helen C. White Garage Visitor Parking (Lot 6)

Daytime and Evening visitor parking is “pay on exit”. Visitors pull a ticket on entry and then pay at a Pay on Foot Station or at the exit lane column upon leaving. 

Visitor Parking available on Street Level: 

All day, Monday through Friday 

Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 Midnight 

$1 per 30 minutes for the first 2 hours 

$1 per hour thereafter 

$12 maximum per day o Visitor Parking available on Lower Level:
