On July 16, 2018 Jasmine Yu-Hsing Chen (Ph.D., Chinese) successfully defended her dissertation, “Questioning Homeland, Sensing Home: Performance and the Negotiation of Identity Construction in Cold War China and Taiwan,” (Rania Huntington, Advisor).
Upon graduation, Jasmine will be joining the faculty of the Utah State University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Languages, Philosophy, and Communication Studies.
