On May 9, 2018 Aaron Kenna Reich (Ph.D. Chinese) successfully defended his dissertation, "Seeing the Sacred: Daoist Ritual, Painted Icons, and the Canonization of a Local God in Ming China,” (Mark Meulenbeld, Advisor).
Since graduation, Aaron has started a tenure-track position at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, where he now teaches courses on Chinese religions and comparative religions!
