Favorite classes in ALC department:
So far, my favorites classes have been the Chinese language classes because not only do I get to really increase my Chinese, but sometimes the TA or the Professor will teach us some little facts about Chinese culture or phrases that aren’t taught in the book but are either slang or Chinese idioms that are frequently used.

What makes me interested in being a peer mentor:
Having studied abroad and also being a double major, I feel like I can help students get accustomed to studying Chinese while also studying for another major. The culture and many other things I experienced while I was in Taiwan really helped me increase my love for studying Chinese and I am truly eager in helping other students also get to that point.
