Workshop: Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Inclusive Classroom

Dr. Ying Yang (Chinese language instructor) will facilitate this workshop is designed for instructors and TAs who wish to embrace inclusive teaching practices and learning activities to help students achieve their learning outcomes and create a more inclusive learning environment. Drawing on theories of Universal Design for Learning (UDL)—a pedagogical framework founded on principles of accessibility and inclusion—workshop participants will be introduced to inclusive teaching strategies that can be easily implemented in course activities and curriculum design. This workshop welcomes all instructors and TAs.
